Odel is a ready-to-eat food brand under Opah Delitaste Enterprise, rooted in Bandar Simanggang, Sri Aman. The Batang Lupar River, known for the natural Benak phenomenon, is not only a tourist attraction but also the lifeline of the local fishing community.
Ikan Bulu, an iconic fish of Simanggang, is often caught in excess, particularly male fish with lower commercial demand. Odel was created to address this challenge by transforming surplus catches into meaningful ready-to-eat products that help reduce waste, protect the river environment, and provide continuous additional income for local fishermen.
